Cup is beautiful although not glass. I bought 3 of these - two for Mother's Day gifts. Both recipients loved them although I had to advise them to put the mug on display in their china hutch and not use them for drinking. Why? Because a small heart was fused to the bottom of the cup on the inside and I was afraid of choking hazard. One recipient is 95 years old and that would definitely not be advisable of her to use for drinking. Thank you though - it is beautiful on display.

Came gift ready and looked elegant right out of the box. Perfect little friendship gift.

The handle feels sturdy and comfortable, even when the mug is full. Love the elegant shape.
